Welcome to the Tuesday Tech Talk, bringing you some of the best web sites I’ve looked at recently, that you can really use! Great sites for this week include:
Learning in Hand, iPods in Education
Many of us, and most of our students, have an iPod, iTouch, or even an iPhone. Learning in Hand provides ideas and information about how to use these great tools in an educational context. Check it out, you’ll be surprised by the wealth of ideas
Georgia Standards
We may be in CT but we can certainly use this resource! The state of Georgia has placed their entire curriculum online, including documents, resources, lessons plans, and more. They even have videos to demonstrate methods of teaching various concepts and skills.
Georgia Math
Georgia ELA
Georgia Science
Georgia Social Studies
CMT Review Resources
Apologies to whomever sent this link to me, I cannot find where I made note of who you are! Redding Elementary School has assembled a collection of materials for third and fourth grade CMT test review, as well as prep materials for second grade.
CMT Math Strand Resources
This is also from the Redding Elementary School webiste. On this page you’ll find links to online and print math activities, sorted by strand, for third and fourth grade math
If you like these sites post a comment and share your thoughts with other teachers. What did your students like about the sites? How do you think they helped you and/or your students?
